I’m a long time artist, and first time art entrepeneur. A jack of many trades, creative and communicative. I like to paint, write, doodle and DJ. I’m also a graphic designer with a work tested understanding about effective communications and presentation. For the last 8 years I have volunteered with Glastonbury based radio station GWS radio, as co-presenter and producer of Insurgent Souls. Some know me as Owlin, Owly, or The Owl while many others know me as Erin. I don’t mind which you use.

I started my journey in pouring paints three years ago. A kit was acquired as an impulse buy while out shopping for more practical things. I had no idea what new passion was about to come my way, only that it looked messy, and therefore fun!
I started watching tutorials online as I became even more enthusiastic about the process, and started to pick up new techniques. As my understanding improved, I started creating my own paint mixtures and developing my own style.

What is Fluid art?

Fluid art is an incredibly dynamic and visually captivating painting technique that involves the careful pouring and skillful manipulation of liquid paints. In my case, acrylic paints which are thinned down This method allows artists to create mesmerizing and intricate patterns alongside vibrant, flowing color compositions that seem to move and change on the canvas. It’s an intuitive and contemplative process, which I find to be really fun, relaxing and cathartic way to express and create. I highly recommend anyone who is curious or tempted to give it a try for yourself. Just be warned, it can be a messy process, so give yourself space to start.
